Summer is almost here, which means its time to start summer reading! As an avid reader, I want to read as many books as possible this summer, but there is one question still unanswered. What books do I plan to read this summer? After thinking hard and doing research, I came up with the list below. This lineup shows some of the books that I really want to read this summer.
1.Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien
I have read The Hobbit and am currently reading The Fellowship of The Ring, which you should probably read before reading this book. Being a person who finishes what he starts, I plan to read this and put it at the top of my list.
2.Mrs. Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
I once saw this book at my library, and it looked intriguing. I hope to find it again.
3.Wings of Fire: Moon Rising by Tui T. Sutherland
This series is awesome!! The dragons are the main characters, and there are prophecies and wars. There are different dragon tribes, each with their own special look and abilities. When I heard there was a continuation of the series after number five, I desperately wanted it.
4.Infernal Devices by Philip Reeve
When I picked up the first book of this series, I couldn’t put it down. Its set in a world where all of the countries have blown each other up, and cities have to be on wheels to keep from the inhabitable earth. So far I have read two out of this series of four.
5.Five Complete Hercule Poirot Novels each by Agatha Christe
I borrowed this book from Mrs.Herr, and have only read about half of the first novel. So far, it has been very interesting. I hope to read all 5.
6.Cabinet of Wonders by Marie Rokaski
My classmates and I were all given a book donate by the governor’s wife, Mrs.Pence. I have been saving this book for when I read all the books I get at the library, because I have them for a limited time. It’s about magic and machines.
