CLAIRE’S FIRST SEMESTER REFLECTION…

Over this past semester, I have learned so much from one of my brilliant teachers, Mrs. Herr. The time that I have with her, a time known as Eagle Up, is by far a highlight to my day. During the fifty minutes that we have together, we write and type blog posts and sometimes we compete in Math Pentathlon games. One thing I have struggled with is keeping my journal up-to-date. But fortunately, I have also grown the most in writing so that helps. In general, I really enjoy the games we play and the rewards we get. Although, I don’t happen to like some of the math-based games. I really enjoy being able to show new people my posts and what my opinions are. Juggle, a Math Pentathlon game that is close to Blockus, is my favorite game not only when because of how it uses more strategy than math, but because it makes me look into how I will play my next piece. Next semester, I hope to exceed and learn more in writing, reading, and math.
