LUKE’S REFLECTION ON THE FIRST SEMESTER…

In my school there is a little thing called Eagle Up.  Eage Up is 50 minutes long and we get stretched in our abilities in school to make us smarter.  Honestly, Eagle Up is not my favorite thing in the world, but it can also be exciting and fun.  For Eagle Up, I work on posts to put on our blog, The Reading Eagles.  So far this semester, my favorite part about the blog are our pages about us which tell who we are and what we like to do. We also do Math Pentathlon games on Fridays; my favorite one is called Juggle because it makes me think where to put a piece so you can win by filling up the board. My favorite part in The Reading Eagles is posting my weekly blog and writing reviews.  I like doing thatbecause it makes me feel like no matter how young or old you are, you can do anything you want. I think finding interesting and important parts in my book is difficult because it’s hard for me to focus on a book for that long!  I’ve grown the most in reading this semester because I used to hate it but now it’s not that bad. I hope next semester I can improve on reading because I really want to enjoy it.
