Life is perfectly fine for Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy until they step into a wardrobe. They find a wonderful place called Narnia.  Lucy meets a faun named Mr. Tumnus and Edmund meets the White Witch.  Edmund is now on the witch’s side.  Lucy, Peter and Susan meet a lion named Aslan; he is the King of Narnia.  When the witch is just about to kill Edmund, Aslan’s army comes and saves him; but the Queen gets away!  They end up having a battle between Aslan and the White Witch for who will rule Narnia.

I thought the book was good.  It was full of adventure and action.  My favorite part was when Father Christmas gave Peter, Susan and Lucy their gifts.

I would recommend this book for both boys and girls from the ages of 8-12.  There is a bit of violence, but not so much that it would be scary for those ages.
